If I had to define myself I would say I am a dreamer.

When I was 15 years old, I started to work in a small furniture factory in Santiago de Compostela. I was a delivery boy and became passionate for all the intricacies of the trade. There I learnt the profession and how to handcraft wood in the traditional way. The know-how and the care for quality and detail with which we worked made a profound impression on me forever. Everything had to be perfect.

I would know each piece of furniture, each piece by heart, and then I started to create my own designs. Every limitation was a challenge and I felt nothing was impossible.
The boy grew up and I was lucky enough to be able to follow and develop my passion. The projects got more and more ambitious and then the opportunity to work with the best architects and interior designers came, leading to what Amboage is today.

Each project is a stimulating and motivating challenge. I am proud of Amboage, because its creation involved determination, trust and enthusiasm. Without the help of all my partners, it would have been impossible.

Who would have said we would have gotten so far! There is no doubt, Amboage is furniture made with passion.
