Jonas Österberg is born Finnish and is Spanish at heart. From a very young age he shows a great interest in drawing, painting and creating objects for his games and environment. This endless artistic curiosity remains today the engine of a brilliant and innovative creative spirit.

He begins his academic career at the School of Fine Arts in Orivesi in Finland. Later, he decides to study Industrial Design at the SYH of Nykarleby, where he acquires a solid knowledge of graphic design, product design, and the handling of materials. In this period, he is awarded an exchange scholarship at the University of Humanities and Technology of Lisbon, Portugal. Here, he thoroughly studies the development of interior design.

After finishing his studies he moves to Spain, where he collaborates with several architectural firms that allow him to specialize in interior design as well as product design and ephemeral architecture.

The main theme in his work is born from artistic inspiration and from the beauty of nature.

The new collections at Amboage are one of the biggest challenges in his professional career, creating five lines of furniture with a unique nature each and preserving the signature of elegance and quality of the brand.
